Journey Through the Old Testament. The Five Books of Moses. A Family Storybook with Masterpieces of Art Review

Journey Through the Old Testament. The Five Books of Moses. A Family Storybook with Masterpieces of Art

My Review

It is richly illustrated with art and is geared towards families, parents, and children. In addition, it can be of great help to all those who want to get a closer understanding of biblical writings and are looking for an intelligible, easy-to-read introduction along with a selection of core biblical texts.

We should not deprive our children of this hope. If we read these stories with them, we can awaken their longing for God. We may perhaps also arouse their curiosity. And touch their heart and move their mind with pictures from two thousand years of art. Thus igniting a life-long journey in search of God.

This book uses a style of language worthy to be associated with Holy Scripture. Combine this with outstanding artwork that truly captures the imagination of children and you have an excellent medium to help children grow in their appreciation for God's Church. It will also help Children to become accustomed to the language of great literature at an early age.

It was perfect! The pictures were stunning and kept the interest of the kids. Just a beautiful reflection of Our Lord. Timeless stories from the Bible for children and parents to share. Parents and children can deepen their understanding of the Bible by reading Bible stories together.

Illustrated in full color with callouts to help deepen the meaning of the stories, and parent to help in discussion, this is a Bible that children can share with their parents, and that parents will want to share with their children.

To conclude, I feel this Bible does a good job supporting my goal of teaching my children accurately (by what is said and seen) from the very start.
