A Treacherous Paradise Review

A Treacherous Paradise

My Review

Gripping in its drama, evocative and searing in its portrait of colonial Africa, A Treacherous Paradise is, at its heart, a deeply moving story of a woman who manages to wrench wisdom, empathy, and grace from the most unforgiving circumstances.

A Treacherous Paradise is one of the most blistering and uncompromising crime novels ever written. Well-paced, tough, honest.....a gem in a field filled with many gems! The characters, unfortunately, are all-too-real. And the plotting manages to be both intricate and coherent.

I don't like reading reviews that are written like book reports for a college course, laying out the entire story, characters and plot. But I enjoyed this so much it is a struggle to not give it all away. Suffice it to say that you will not be disappointed.
